This wine features delightful notes of blackberry, red cherry, and raspberry, complemented by the signature bramble aromas typical of Zinfandel. It offers rich blackberry and plum flavors, enhanced by hints of baking spice from the French oak. Overall, it’s a well-balanced wine with harmonious acidity, making it an excellent pairing for various dishes.

The 2022 Vintage

2022 was a beautiful year, consisting of a cool spring and summer ended with a heat spike in August to finish ripening the fruit. We had a much later harvest than normal but the long growing cycle allowed us to produce exceptional fruit!

Estate Vineyard

Our estate Zinfandel is crafted from a blend of three distinct blocks. One block is oriented almost due west, while the others are positioned across the estate’s rolling hills. Even though these blocks are in close proximity and consist of the same Zinfandel clone, they exhibit unique flavors and ripen at varying times. This diversity allows us to blend the wine in a way that highlights the terroir of our estate and showcases the remarkable balance that Zinfandel can achieve.
