Rosé only became a part of the Trattore repertoire when Michelle challenged Tim to produce one. It took betting her wages on pink wine, and the gamble paid off beyond all expectations. The release of our first Rosé in 2010 was awarded the New York International Rosé of the Year. In her honor, the tradition continues today, and the bottle bears her name. Our 2021 Grenache Rosé is bright and elegant, with a delicious rhubarb, strawberry nose, and hints of peach and citrus on the palate finishing with nice acidity. Rosé is now a year-round wine as the season cools down; we love serving this with appetizers before a hearty fall and winter main course!
Try Michelle's Rosé with smoked gouda and mushroom quesadillas, Bacon Potato salad, asparagus with crispy prosciutto, grilled cheese brie sandwich, salmon with pesto, charcuterie and a hearty soup.
